Drogheda Boys & Girls FC is delighted to launch Her Game Starts Here, a brand-new initiative designed to introduce more young girls to football in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment.

We're inviting girls born between 2017 and 2020 to come along and give football a try — no previous experience is required!

A FREE introductory football programme focused on helping girls:
💜 Have fun and enjoy being active
⚽ Learn new football skills
👭 Make new friends
⭐ Build confidence
🏃‍♀️ Develop a love of sport and physical activity

The programme will be delivered through fun, age-appropriate games and activities, with a strong focus on participation and enjoyment rather than competition.

🎽 FREE Erreà Training Kit
As part of the programme, every participant will receive a brand-new Her Game Starts Here training kit FREE of charge.

There is absolutely no cost to take part.

Her Game Starts Here – Terms & Conditions & Consent

By registering my child for the Her Game Starts Here programme, I confirm that I have read and agree to the following:

1. Programme Participation
I understand that Her Game Starts Here is a free introductory football programme for girls born between 2017 and 2020, taking place at Marley's Lane.

I understand that the programme is designed to provide a fun, safe and welcoming introduction to football.

2. Parent/Guardian Consent
I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian of the child being registered and give permission for her to participate in the programme.

I understand that football is a physical activity and accept the normal risks associated with participation in football and outdoor sporting activities.

I agree to inform the club of any relevant medical, physical or other information that may affect my child's ability to safely participate.

3. Emergency Contact & Medical Information
I confirm that the contact and medical information provided during registration is accurate and up to date.

I authorise the club and its appointed coaches/volunteers to seek appropriate medical assistance for my child in the event of an emergency where I cannot be contacted immediately.

4. Attendance & Conduct
I agree that my child will follow the reasonable instructions of coaches and club officials and behave appropriately towards other participants, coaches, volunteers and parents.

I understand that the club reserves the right to remove a participant from the programme where their behaviour presents a risk to themselves or others.

5. Free Training Kit
I understand that the programme is completely free of charge and that each participant will receive a brand-new Her Game Starts Here Erreà training kit.

I understand that kit sizes will be collected during registration and that the club will endeavour to provide the requested size, subject to availability.

6. Data Protection
I understand that the information provided during registration will be used by Drogheda Boys & Girls FC for the purposes of administering the programme, communicating with parents/guardians, managing attendance and providing relevant information about the child's participation.

The club will handle personal information in accordance with its applicable data protection and GDPR requirements.

7. Programme Communication
I consent to Drogheda Boys & Girls FC contacting me regarding:
  •  Her Game Starts Here sessions 
  •  Changes or cancellations 
  •  Kit collection 
  •  Programme updates 
  •  Important safety information 

8. Programme Changes
I understand that sessions may occasionally need to be changed, postponed or cancelled due to circumstances including weather, pitch conditions, facility availability or other factors outside the club's control.

The club will communicate any changes to parents/guardians as soon as reasonably possible.
