For the safety of all our players, shinguards must be worn at every Drogheda Boys & Girls FC training session and match.
This is a club-wide requirement and applies to all players across all age groups.
Shinguard Requirements
- Shinguards must provide adequate coverage of the player's shins.
- Mini shinguards are not permitted and should not be used for training or matches.
- Players must arrive at training and matches with suitable shinguards ready to be worn.
Strict Enforcement
All coaches have been informed that this policy must be strictly enforced.
If a player does not have suitable shinguards, or is wearing shinguards that do not provide adequate coverage, they will not be permitted to participate until the correct equipment is provided.
We ask all parents and players to ensure that appropriate shinguards are part of their essential football equipment at every training session and match.
This policy is in place to help reduce the risk of injury and ensure we maintain a safe environment for all players at Drogheda Boys & Girls FC.
