Week 2 of the 2026/27 DDSL season is upon us, with another busy weekend of action at Marley’s Lane and beyond.

🗓️ SATURDAY
The 2016, 2017 and 2018 teams get their 2026/27 campaigns underway this weekend, with all three sides enjoying home fixtures for their first games of the season. We wish all three teams the very best as they begin their new campaigns. 🔴⚪

The 2015 Claret team also begin their first season of competitive football, welcoming Leicester Celtic FC to Marley’s Lane. A big milestone for the team and one they’ll be looking to mark with a strong opening performance.

After a difficult opening fixture last weekend, the 2014 Boys will be looking to bounce back as they welcome Park Celtic FC to Marley’s Lane.

It has been a perfect start for the 2013 Claret team, with two wins from two in their first season of Major football. They’ll be looking to continue that impressive run when they face Crumlin United FC at Marley’s Lane.

The 2012 Claret team open their account for the 2026/27 season on Saturday afternoon, welcoming Greenhills Boys FC to Marley’s Lane for the final fixture of the day.

🗓️ SUNDAY
Sunday brings another busy day of football at home, with six teams taking to Marley’s Lane.

The 2016 Girls open their season as they welcome Mount Merrion Youths FC to Marley’s Lane. This is the only non-competitive fixture taking place at Marley’s Lane on Sunday, giving the team an opportunity to get their season underway and enjoy their first game together.

The 2015 Blue team also begin their first season of competitive football, welcoming Clonee United FC in the opening fixture at Marley’s Lane.

Next up, the 2014 Blue team get their league challenge underway as they welcome Sacred Heart FC.

The 2013 Girls have another exciting milestone ahead as they play their first 11-a-side fixture at Marley’s Lane this year, opening their league campaign against Lucan United FC.

The 2011 Blue team then welcome Shankill FC as they get their opening league fixture underway.

Away from home, the 2011 Claret team will be looking to bounce back from two tough opening-round fixtures when they travel to face Crumlin United FC.

🚫 POSTPONED FIXTURES
A number of teams will have to wait a little longer to continue their campaigns, with the Youth Girls, 2012 Blue, 2013 Blue and 2014 Girls fixtures all postponed this weekend.
