Drogheda Boys & Girls FC is excited to launch a special Colouring & Poster Competition as part of our ‘It’s My Game’ campaign! This is a fun and creative way for our young players to celebrate what football means to them and to reinforce the key values of the initiative: Respect, Support, and Enjoyment.
What’s it all about?
We want our players to show—through drawing, colouring, or posters—what football means to them. Whether it's scoring goals, playing with friends, showing respect to referees, or cheering from the sidelines, every child has a story to tell!
There are two ways to enter:🖍️
Colouring Competition (U5–U8)
- Choose from our official “It’s My Game” colouring sheets (available from your coach or to download).
- Let your child colour it in and return it by [Insert Deadline].
- Everyone gets a certificate—plus, there are small prizes for creativity and effort!
🎨
Poster Competition (U9–U12, 13+)
- Theme: “It’s My Game – What Football Means to Me”
- Create a poster showing the importance of respect, enjoyment, teamwork, and fun
- Entries can be handed in to your coach or submitted at training.

- Category winners will receive club goodies and certificates of recognition.
- All participants will be acknowledged for taking part.

Let’s Celebrate Our Players’ Passion for the Game
This competition is all about reinforcing what matters most—fun, friendship, respect, and the love of football. We encourage all parents to get behind this and give your child a chance to shine off the pitch as well!
Football is their game. Let’s help them express what makes it so special.
