Drogheda Boys & Girls F.C. is excited to launch our Lucky First Goal fundraiser ahead of the Champions League Final on Saturday 31st May, 2025. This initiative is a fantastic opportunity to support the club while being in with a chance to win a €500 cash prize!
Each ticket costs just €2 and includes a scratch-off panel revealing a randomly assigned minute and second. If that time matches the time of the first goal scored in the final (during normal time), the ticket holder wins €500. If no goal is scored, the “NO GOAL” ticket wins.
Why We’re Fundraising
All funds raised will go directly towards the upgrade of our dressing rooms and toilet facilities, essential improvements that will benefit players across all age groups in our club.
How It Works
- Each playing member is asked to sell a minimum of 10 tickets.
- Players can sell more if they wish – additional tickets are available from any committee or fundraising team member.
- The team that sells the most tickets collectively will win a team bonding trip to Funtasia!
Parent Reps Needed
To help make this a success, we’re asking each team to nominate a Parent Rep to assist with distributing tickets and collecting money. This lightens the load on our already busy coaches and helps ensure everything runs smoothly.
