Every successful club relies on passionate volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart — and this year, we’re proud to celebrate Maria Connor as our Volunteer of the Year! ⚽

Maria wears many hats within Drogheda Boys & Girls FC. She currently serves as our Child Welfare Officer and Vice Treasurer, ensuring the club runs safely, fairly, and efficiently. On top of that, she’s a huge support to our U17 Boys team, assisting on the sidelines, and still finds time to help out with our Kindergarten coaching group, introducing our youngest players to the joy of football.

Her dedication, warmth, and constant willingness to help out wherever needed truly embody what our club is all about. Whether it’s safeguarding our players, balancing the books, or tying the laces of our tiniest stars, Maria does it all with a smile and a genuine love for the club.
