Drogheda Boys & Girls FC are delighted to announce Darragh Downes as our Club Player of the Month for September!
From the very first training session this season, Darragh has shown maturity beyond his years. Calm, composed, and intelligent in defence, he reads the game superbly and has earned the full trust of his teammates to lead from the back.
His attitude off the pitch is equally impressive — with 100% attendance at both training and matches, Darragh sets a standard every player can aspire to. A quiet leader, he lets his effort and performances do the talking, embodying the club’s core values of respect, commitment, teamwork, and growth.
Although still new to Drogheda Boys & Girls FC, Darragh has already made a huge impact, quickly becoming an integral part of his team and a role model for others.
