Drogheda Boys & Girls FC is seeking expressions of interest from club members who may be interested in taking on the voluntary role of Sustainability Development Officer.
This is a simple and flexible role aimed at helping the club become more environmentally aware and responsible in how we operate. The person in this role would take a look at how the club currently runs day-to-day activities and identify small, practical ways we can improve our environmental impact.

- Reviewing current club practices (waste management, recycling, energy use, transport to matches, etc.).
- Suggesting simple, realistic changes that could make the club more environmentally friendly.
- Helping the club introduce small sustainability initiatives over time.
- Raising awareness within the club about how we can all play a part in protecting the environment.
This role does not require specialist knowledge—just an interest in sustainability and a willingness to help the club make positive changes for the future.
