As our club continues to grow, so too does the need to strengthen how we support it financially.
One of the key changes we are introducing is a new, more structured approach to fundraising — designed to be fair, sustainable, and shared across the entire club.
💡 Why Change?
Up to now, a small number of volunteers have carried most of the fundraising workload.
While their efforts have been hugely appreciated, this model is not sustainable as the club continues to grow.
To deliver our future plans — including improved facilities and increased opportunities for players — we need a broader, more organised approach.
🤝 Our New Approach
We are introducing a Fundraising Committee with representation from every team.
We are introducing a Fundraising Committee with representation from every team.
👉 Each team will be asked to nominate one parent or coach to be part of the committee.
This will ensure:
- Shared responsibility across the club
- Better organisation of events and initiatives
- More consistent and effective fundraising
- Reduced pressure on a small number of volunteers
⚽ What Will the Committee Do?
The Fundraising Committee will:
- Plan and organise club fundraising events
- Support existing initiatives and develop new ideas
- Work alongside the club committee to fund key projects
- Help ensure all teams benefit from fundraising efforts
🔵 Why This Matters
Fundraising is essential to:
- Improving our facilities
- Reducing ongoing costs (such as astro rental)
- Supporting teams with equipment and resources
- Delivering our long-term development plan
Simply put:
👉 No fundraising = no growth
🙌 How You Can Help
We will be asking each team to nominate a representative in the coming weeks.
Even a small contribution of time makes a big difference when shared across the club.
🔚 Final Message
This is about building a stronger club together.
If everyone contributes a little, we can achieve a lot — and continue to provide the best possible environment for all of our players.
Thank you for your continued support 💙⚽
