Saturday morning arrives, and Marley’s Lane is alive early doors. At 10am, the 2014 Claret side take centre stage at home to Beechwood, setting the tone for a busy day on the pitches.

Across the morning, the younger age groups roll into action with a full programme of small-sided games, while on the road, the 2012 Claret team travel to Sporting Greystones.

There’s mixed news elsewhere — the 2013 Claret squad have been awarded a walkover against Cabinteely, while the 2011 Claret fixture with Tallaght Town is off.

🎙️ Into Sunday, and Marley’s Lane remains the hub of activity…

A big cup tie headlines the day as the U17s (2009) host Esker Celtic. The 2012 Blue side are also at home to Ardmore Rovers, looking to put in a strong performance.

On the travel front, the 2013 Girls head to Marks Celtic, and the 2014 Blue team are away to Granada.

And an important update — the 2010 Girls won’t be in action this weekend, as Dundrum have conceded a walkover, giving Drogheda the result without kicking a ball.

A few other squads also get a rest day, with some teams listed as idle.

🎙️ No let-up as we head into the midweek schedule…

Monday night football sees the 2012 Claret side host Portmarnock under the lights.

Tuesday brings two away trips — the 2012 Blue team travel to St Kevin’s, while the 2014 Claret side hit the road to face Crumlin United.

Then on Wednesday, it’s a busy evening back at Marley’s Lane — the Senior Women take on Lusk United, alongside the 2011 Claret team who face Corduff in another home fixture double-header.

🎙️ And we finish the week strong…

Thursday night sees the 2011 Blue side host Drumcondra, before Friday evening football wraps things up with the 2014 Claret team back at home against Ardmore Rovers.

🎙️ Another packed schedule, plenty of football across all age groups, and Marley’s Lane once again at the heart of it all — best of luck to all Drogheda Boys & Girls FC teams this week!⚽
