Our Annual Awards Night was a wonderful celebration of everything that makes Drogheda Boys & Girls FC such a special club. It was fantastic to see so many players, coaches, volunteers, parents, supporters, and friends of the club come together to recognise the hard work, commitment, and achievements across all age groups throughout the season.

As Chairperson, I was especially delighted to announce on the night that work on our brand-new changing rooms and toilet facilities will officially begin this week. This marks a hugely important milestone in the continued development of our club and facilities. It is something that will benefit our members, visiting teams, volunteers, and the wider community for many years to come, and represents another major step forward for Drogheda Boys & Girls FC.

These developments would not be possible without the incredible dedication of so many people behind the scenes who continue to give their time, energy, and support to help our club grow both on and off the pitch.

I would also like to sincerely thank Hubert Murphy for once again doing an excellent job as MC on the evening. Hubert has been a wonderful friend of Drogheda Boys & Girls FC for many years, and his ongoing support, encouragement, and generosity towards the club is truly appreciated by everyone involved.

A special word of thanks also to Laura from One Shot Photography for capturing all the highlights from the evening. Laura’s professionalism and continued support of the club is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to sharing some wonderful memories from the night.

Finally, congratulations to all of our award winners and nominees. Your dedication, attitude, sportsmanship, and passion for football continue to make our club proud. Thank you to all of our coaches, volunteers, and families for the role you play in supporting our young players every single week.
