The curtain came down on another unforgettable DBGFC Mini World Cup as Finals Day delivered drama, excitement and plenty of memorable moments across every division.

From penalty shoot-outs to high-scoring finals and emotional celebrations, the final day had everything that makes this tournament so special.

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί UEFA Nations
The UEFA division concluded with a blockbuster final as Spain defeated Portugal 2-0 to lift the UEFA Nations Cup and cap off an outstanding tournament. Earlier in the day, Portugal had booked their place in the final after an incredible 10-6 victory over the Netherlands, while Spain edged Germany 4-3 in a thrilling semi-final.

In the Shield competition, Belgium claimed the title with a 3-1 victory over France after both teams enjoyed impressive knockout runs.

🌍 CAF Nations
The African nations once again produced some of the tournament’s most entertaining football. Tunisia were crowned CAF Nations champions, defeating South Africa 4-3 in a dramatic final.

The Shield Final was equally exciting, with Morocco overcoming Egypt 4-3 to claim the trophy, while DR Congo defeated Zambia in the Cup playoff.

🌏 Asia Nations
The Asia Nations division delivered drama right until the very end. After an incredible round-robin semi-final stage, UAE were crowned Asia Nations Cup champions, edging Saudi Arabia 5-4 in a thrilling final.

Elsewhere, Japan won the Trophy Final, defeating Uzbekistan 5-4, while Australia claimed the Shield and Qatar lifted the Plate after another entertaining afternoon of football.

🌎 CONMEBOL Nations
South America finished in style as Colombia produced a superb performance to defeat Peru 7-3 and become CONMEBOL champions.

In the Shield competition, Brazil lifted the trophy after defeating Paraguay 2-0, while Venezuela claimed third place in the Cup competition with victory over Argentina.

Throughout the day, Marley’s Lane was once again packed with players, coaches, families and supporters creating an incredible atmosphere. The noise, celebrations and sportsmanship on display showed exactly why the Mini World Cup has become such a special event in our community.

A huge thank you must go to every volunteer, referee, coach, sponsor and supporter who made the week possible. Most importantly, thank you to our amazing players, who represented their nations with pride, respect and enthusiasm from the opening whistle to the final kick.

The trophies may have been handed out, but the memories made this week will last far longer.
