Effective immediately, e-scooters and electric bikes are not permitted on Drogheda Boys & Girls FC grounds.
The safety of our players, coaches, volunteers and visitors is our priority. Following a review by the Executive Committee, this policy has been introduced to ensure a safe environment for everyone attending Marley’s Lane.
Parents and players are also reminded that it is illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to use an e-scooter on public roads in Ireland. As a club, we do not wish to encourage or facilitate the use of e-scooters by our young members.
We kindly ask all members to:
- Not bring e-scooters or electric bikes onto club grounds.
- Ensure children travelling to and from the club do so safely and in line with Irish road traffic legislation.
- Respect this policy at all training sessions, matches and club events.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation as we continue to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
